Mark Mitschow

Professor of Accounting
SUNY Geneseo

Mark Mitschow teaches primarily financial accounting courses including Principles, Intermediate I and II, and Advanced Accounting. His research interests are in the areas of business ethics, auditing, small business and behavioral accounting. His research has been published in scholarly journals including Research on Professional Responsibility and Ethics in Accounting, Research in Ethical Issues in Organizations, and Journal of Business Ethics.

In addition, Mitschow is on the editorial board of Research on Professional Responsibility and Ethics in Accounting and Journal of Business and Behavioral Sciences and is an ad hoc reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals. Mitschow has served on the SUNY Geneseo College Senate and several School of Business committees. He is also Chair of the School of Business Assurance Of Learning Committee.  Mitschow also co-chaired the 2014 American Accounting Association National Ethics Symposium.
