Allen Schiff

Allen Schiff, a professor of accounting and taxation at the Fordham School of Business, recently wrapped up his term as accounting area chair. He continues to serve as director of the MBA consulting program and as academic director of the master's programs in taxation at the Graduate School of Business Administration.

Through the MBA consulting program that Dr. Schiff administers, graduate students work in teams to analyze problems facing national and global client companies and suggest paths toward resolution. His other responsibility, Fordham's Master of Science programs, include an MS in taxation and a master's in accounting and taxation.

Dr. Schiff's research reflects his keen interest in academic and professional facets of financial and managerial accounting. His articles have appeared in leading academic publications such as The Accounting Review, and in professional journals such as the Journal of Accountancy. Dr. Schiff has served as a faculty fellow at PricewaterhouseCoopers and as an outside director and an audit committee member of two publicly traded companies.
