Rafael Rodríguez is a tax partner at VC BioLaw, a Spanish boutique law firm specialized in legal and tax advice to the Life Sciences industry. He has more than 35 years of experience in providing tax advice to enterprises ranging from family businesses to multinational corporate groups. In addition to specializing in providing tax advice on operational aspects, corporate reorganizations, and M&A, his areas of expertise also include advising, assisting, and defending companies and individuals in tax audit proceedings before the Spanish and local tax authorities and before the courts.
Rafael joined PricewaterhouseCoopers Spain in 1987 and was a partner from 2002 until 2021. At PwC, Rafael was in charge of the pharmaceutical industry at a Firm level. He is member of the Madrid Bar Association since 1988 and has been a tax professor at Instituto de Empresa and the Universidad Internacional de La Rioja.
