Neelu Mehrotra is a Managing Director of Ernst & Young LLP’s National International Tax and Transaction Services. She is based in Providence, Rhode Island.
Neelu has more than 20 years of experience providing quantitative international tax services. She has extensive experience assisting companies streamline and standardize their international reporting processes, including utilizing tax processes and technology to efficiently extract data, convert offline processes to online, automate manual activities andimprove overall efficiency in the foreign reporting process. Neelu also has been focused on the modeling and reporting impacts of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA). Neelu has experience assisting clients with large scale quantitative consulting projects including large scale E&P projects, basis studies, foreign tax credit (FTC) computations, Previously Taxed Earnings and profits (PTEP) repatriation and Global Intangible Low tax income (GILTI) modeling, Subpart F, Permanent Establishment and Expat issues. She works with family offices and tax exempt organizations including healthcare organizations, universities and pension trusts as well with their foreign reporting requirements. Neelu is an Enrolled Agent.
