Nathan W. Giesselman

Mr. Giesselman is recognized annually in Chambers USA, in which a client commentator described him as “an outstanding technical lawyer with excellent client service. He is extremely responsive and understands how to get to a solution.” In 2021, on the strength of his sophisticated tax practice, The American Lawyer named him one of its inaugural Trail¬blazers of the West, an award given to attorneys who have “moved the needle in the legal industry.” He has been included in The Legal 500 U.S. and Euromoney’s Rising Stars Expert Guide. Law360 also has named him a 2022 Tax MVP and previously as one of the publication’s Rising Stars on the strength of his sophisticated work on behalf of his clients.

Mr. Giesselman also has been named a leading practitioner in MergerLinks’ Top Tax Lawyers in North America rankings and one of its Dealmakers, in addition to being selected as a Rising Star in ITR World Tax and one of Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Dealmakers in America. Earlier in his career, the Daily Journal selected him as one of its Top 40 Under 40, an annual list of young California attorneys who are engaging in impactful, high-level work. He was a key member of the deal team recognized by the Daily Journal with a 2018 California Lawyer Attorney of the Year (CLAY) award for innovative work on behalf of Intel Corporation in its acquisition of Mobileye N.V.
