Michael Olesnicky holds a BA (Honors) and an LLB from Adelaide University (Australia) and an LLM from Columbia University. He has practiced with Baker McKenzie's Hong Kong office for over 25 years, and served for many years as the head of that firm's Asia tax practice as well as on its global tax steering committee. He is a honorary lecturer in the law faculty of Hong Kong University, chairperson of the Joint Liaison Committee on Taxation and a former member of the Inland Revenue Board of Review.
