Jeanelle Alemar-Escabí has been a tax practitioner for more than 18 years. Since 2015 she has assisted more than 70 businesses and investors to relocate their operations to Puerto Rico. She is also an adjunct professor of the Law School at the University of Puerto Rico teaching Business Operations in Puerto Rico. Ms. Alemar -Escabí worked as part of the tax practice group of the law firm Pietrantoni, Mendez & Alvarez LLC from 2005 to 2015. In addition, she served as tax adviser for the Secretary of the Puerto Rico Treasury Department from 2001 to 2004. Her certifications include: Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant affiliated to the AICPA; and Certified Promoter by the Puerto Rico Department of Economic Development and Commerce to promote Puerto Rico.
