Eric J. Lavin is an associate in Holland & Knight's Boston office and a member of the firm's Taxation Practice. Mr. Lavin focuses his practice on tax law with an emphasis on tax credit transactions.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Lavin worked at a leading public accounting firm, where he assisted clients with the establishment of tax efficient international business structures and intercompany transactions. He has experience working with companies in a broad range of industries, including energy, life sciences, biotechnology and consumer goods.
During law school, Mr. Lavin was a symposium editor for the American Journal of Law & Medicine and an intern at the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, where he worked to protect the state's consumers from unfair and deceptive trade practices. Mr. Lavin was also a judicial extern to the Honorable Elia Weinbach in the family law division of the Los Angeles Superior Court.
