Anand Raj was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in October 1996 and has been a partner of Shearn Delamore & Co. since 2003. Anand’s practice areas include all aspects of competition law and antitrust as well as all aspects of tax audits, investigations and tax litigation and dispute resolution. Anand has been recognised in the International Who’s Who of Competition Lawyers 2013 – 2018 and the Who’s Who of Corporate Tax Lawyers 2016 - 2018. Anand has also been recognized for his work as Competition Counsel in the Global Competition Review, Band 1 in Tax by Chambers Asia Pacific 2011 - 2018, Band 1 in Competition by Chambers Asia Pacific 2015 - 2018 and Asialaw Leading Lawyers 2014 - 2018. Anand was also recognised as Asia Tax Litigation and Disputes Practice Leader of the year 2017 by the International Tax Review. Anand is the Chair of the Tax Sub-Committee of the Malaysian Bar Council, Malaysia Rapporteur for the International Bar Association’s Antitrust & Competition Committee and the Co-Chair of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association’s (IPBA) Competition Law Committee.
