Guidance: Energy Credit Increase for Low-Income Communities

Established under the Inflation Reduction Act, the Low-Income Communities Bonus Credit Program provides an increased energy credit for certain solar or wind facilities. On August 11, 2023, Treasury and the IRS released final regulations and application guidelines. The application process for the program is set to open in fall 2023.
