Moshe Bell-Jacobs

Mo is a Senior Manager in RSM’s Washington National Tax - State and Local Tax group. He routinely examines state and local tax issues and their impact on middle-market businesses. Mo is responsible for analyzing state tax policy, tracking legislation, reviewing significant judicial developments, providing client service, and acting as a technical resource. Mo’s experience includes state tax law research and planning, property tax appeals, state audit defense representation through appeals and settlement negotiations, voluntary disclosures, and a full spectrum of Wayfair planning and response.

Mo has written extensively on state tax developments and policy and has been published in Bloomberg Tax’s Daily Tax Report State, The Tax Adviser, and State Tax Notes. Mo is currently serving an appointment to the AICPA’s Tax Executive Committee and is immediate post-chair of the AICPA State and Local Tax Technical Resource Panel. Prior to joining RSM, Mo was a manager in a Big Four accounting firm, spending over a year in that firm’s Washington National Tax office. Before beginning a career in public accounting, Mo was a state and local tax attorney in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, managing sales and use tax refund and assessment appeals and property tax appeals throughout the state.
