Michael Sedlaczek

Michael Sedlaczek is a Tax Partner in the Vienna, Austria office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he specializes in structuring national and global M&A transactions. He also advises clients on corporate tax planning, group reorganizations and structured finance, with a special focus on the financial institutions sector. He acts for family-owned businesses and specializes in the structuring of private wealth for individuals, foundations and trusts.

Michael is the author of numerous articles and publications on tax and EC law issues and a lecturer at the University of Vienna. He is a member of the Austrian Bar Association and the International Academy for Estate and Trust Law.
