Katie Lynagh is a Senior Vice President, Wealth Planner based in Chilton Trust Company’s New York office. Ms. Lynagh works closely with Chilton Trust’s clients, guiding them in identifying their estate planning, tax, and philanthropic objectives and developing comprehensive plans to meet their goals. Prior to joining Chilton Trust, Ms. Lynagh worked in private legal practice at Milbank LLP in the firm’s trusts and estates group, advising ultra-high net worth families on tax-efficient gifting techniques and estate planning strategies.

Active in the legal community, Ms. Lynagh is currently a Co-Chair of the Multistate Committee of the Trusts and Estates Law Section of the New York State Bar Association and previously served as a Co-Chair of the Section’s Estate and Trust Administration Committee and Vice Chair of the Section’s Legislation and Governmental Relations Committee. Ms. Lynagh has lectured on estate planning and administration topics, including for the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), American Law Institute, the New York State Bar Association, and the University of Kentucky Annual Midwest-Midsouth Estate Planning Institute, and she is a graduate of the ACTEC Mid-Atlantic Fellows Institute. Ms. Lynagh has authored tax and estate planning articles published in Bloomberg Tax’s Tax Management Estates, Gifts & Trusts Journal, the Trusts and Estates Law Section Journal of the New York State Bar Association, the Leimberg Information Services, Inc. Estate Planning Newsletter, and the New York Law Journal.

Ms. Lynagh received her J.D. from the New York University School of Law and B.S. degrees in accounting and finance from the University of Maryland. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Lynagh worked as a CPA at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Washington, D.C.
