David Cairns

David Cairns provided consulting and training services on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and authored several authoritative texts and academic papers on IFRS. He was the secretary-general of the International Accounting Standards Committee (IASC) from 1985 to 1994 and a member of the IASB's Working Group on Accounting Standards for Small and Medium-sized Entities. He was a member of the UK's Financial Reporting Review Panel.
